To make therapy as accessible as possible, I operate on a private-pay basis and do not accept insurance directly. This allows me to focus completely on your unique needs without the limitations that insurance companies can sometimes impose. My fees are set on a sliding scale to accommodate a range of financial situations.
A superbill is a detailed receipt of our services that includes all the information your insurance company needs to potentially reimburse you. If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, you can submit this superbill to your provider, and they may reimburse you a percentage of the session cost.
The first session is all about getting to know you. It's a relaxed, conversational space where we'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your goals, and any questions you may have. We'll also review the necessary paperwork and talk about what our work together will look like. My main goal is for you to leave feeling heard and understood.
Absolutely! What we discuss in our sessions is completely confidential. I am ethically and legally bound to protect your privacy. There are, however, a few legal and ethical exceptions to confidentiality, such as if there is an imminent threat of harm to yourself or others, or in cases of suspected child or elder abuse. We will review these limits in detail during our first session.
The length of therapy is unique to each person. Some clients come in for a few sessions to work on a specific issue, while others find long-term therapy beneficial for deeper, ongoing growth. We'll regularly check in on your goals to make sure our work together continues to meet your needs.
My sessions are conducted via secure, confidential telehealth, allowing you the flexibility to attend from the comfort of your own space. This makes it easy to fit therapy into your schedule while ensuring your privacy is protected.
My sliding scale is a flexible fee structure based on your income and financial situation. It’s designed to make therapy more accessible for clients who might not otherwise be able to afford it. You can contact me directly to discuss my sliding scale availability and find a fee that works for you.
I offer evening and weekend appointments to accommodate busy schedules and make therapy accessible for those who work during the day. Please visit my contact page or reach out to me directly to discuss my current availability and find a time that works for you.
