Hi there! My name is Mickey Godfrey Jr., and I'm a Master of Social Work Intern therapist dedicated to helping individuals find strength in their struggles. My own journey with mental health has given me a deep sense of empathy and a belief that healing begins with connection. I created Growth from Struggle with the intention of providing a safe, affirming, and non-judgmental space for you to be seen and heard.

As a intern therapist, I operate under the direct supervision of Dr. Jennifer Vasquez, LCSW-S. My approach is rooted in empathy and collaboration, as I believe you are the expert on your own life. Whether you're a teenager or an adult, we'll work together to explore your unique strengths, navigate challenges, and help you find your way forward.

In my free time, you can find me traveling, enjoying time with my family and friends, playing with my dog, or volunteering. As an Arkansas native and a proud Texas resident, I look forward to connecting with you.
